FREEBIE: Continuing Education Tracker

Finding the right Continuing Education (CE) events can be tough as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA). It can also be challenging to keep track of how many CEs you already have, which remaining credits you need, and remembering if you entered them into the BACB gateway.

I understand the struggle, and that’s why I developed a FREE continuing education tracker to make your life a little easier. I've also come up with a few tips on how to make the best of Continuing education events.

1.Choose wisely:

Register for CE events that genuinely interest you or directly relate to the population you work with. Just taking a CE course because “it looked easy” isn’t going to help you grow professionally, and it will not help you become a better clinician.

2. Attend conferences

Earn a significant chunk of CEUs in just one or two days. Beyond the CE benefits, conferences can also be really fun and provide excellent networking opportunities.

3. Take detailed notes

Maximize your learning by actively engaging with the material. Take notes. Put your phone away and pay attention.

4. Promptly enter CEs into the gateway

Enter your CEUs into the BACB gateway as soon as you receive your certificate of completion. Your future self will thank you for staying organized and on top of things.

5. Avoid procrastination

Don’t succumb to the temptation of waiting until the last minute to complete all of your CE requirements. Spread them out across your certification cycle. This approach has major advantages: First, it eliminates the stress associated with last-minute CE completion, and, second, it allows you the freedom to choose events that genuinely interest you.

6. Track your CEUs hassle-free

My CE Tracker is designed specifically for BCBAs like you. Say goodbye to the headache of remembering which events you’ve attended, how many CEUs you’ve earned and more. With my user-friendly tracker, you can effortlessly keep tabs on your professional development. Just print, add it to a clipboard or 3-ring binder, and you’re good to go!
